Free Online High Schools for Adults

Unfortunately there are no free online high schools for adults. There are many adults looking to complete their high school diploma online and pick up where they left off when they dropped out of school years ago. The online schools need to be paid for by someone, and the only free options are only available to full-time high school aged students who are being paid by the state they live in to attend that online school. The state won’t pay for an adult’s high school education because they already paid for it once. The only solutions for adults seeking to complete their high school diploma are to:

• A. Attend an on-site adult education program (usually hosted in the evenings).
• B. Look into some of the adult education online options listed on our site (these require tuition to be paid).
• C. Take the GED in person, NEVER online. Online GED programs are not legitimate. The GED is currently only hosted in proctored, on-site facilities, never online.
